Do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast?

As the title says, do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?

Personally I brush my teeth before breakfast.

 

Normally after breakfast, but if I'm really in a rush, then I will brush it before breakfast.

I brush my teeth before and after, I brush them more thoroughly after though.

 

After. Then again normally I don't eat breakfast. I usually brush my teeth after smoking though.

 

I brush mine after. I'm not the type to brush before and have food in my teeth or have smelly breathe.

 

Believe it or not, I have great teeth.

My mom always tells me my teeth will fall out, but it's in great condition. I usually pick out food in my teeth after I eat anyways.

 

Before. Sometimes I'll put mouthwash after or something but generally idc too much.

 

Usually I don't eat breakfast, but when I do (twice in a month or something) it's after.

 

I usually brush my teeth before breakfast, for 2 reasons. One, because I often eat breakfast a little bit later in the morning whereas I like to freshen up (shower, brush teeth etc.) fairly quickly after waking up.

The second reason is because for some reason, I find that when I brush my teeth and don't eat or drink anything, the minty toothpaste "freshness" of my breath tends to go stale after a few hours and leaves a weird taste in my mouth. I'm sure it makes my breath smell weird too.

It is really weird, but I find that if I eat after I brush my teeth, my mouth feels pretty normal.

 

Up until after high school I brushed every day after breakfast. I always hated when kids brushed before and then came to school with bad breath because of eggs or something.

Now I usually don't brush my teeth in the morning. I brush every night and don't eat a lot (if anything) for breakfast. I personally don't see why you'd brush before you eat breakfast. It defeats the purpose of brushing in the first place. Have you forgotten that you're supposed (even though no one is ever this religious about brushing) to brush after every meal?

well now since its the summer ill brush my teeth around like 11ish before i really start my day then right before i go to bed.
i could never stand brushing my teeth then drinking oj. worst taste ever.

 

Does that mean if you don't eat breakfast you don't brush your teeth?

I brush my teeth before breakfast as during the weekdays I don't eat breakfast.

 

I don't get why you guys eat after you brush your teeth?
Kind of defeats the entire purpose lol.

I brush mine right before I leave for school, which is after i've brushed my teeth and taken a shower.

Since summer i been satying home and sometimes i forget

 

i wake up shower, dry haird etc, eat brush teeth and leave for school.
