98 - 99 Defence Help

Okay so here are my stats:
98 Defence
85 Attack
85 Strength
91 Constitution
70 Prayer
58 Summoning

I need to somehow get 900k xp within 10 hours to meet a race deadline haha. I know it sounds stupid, but I really want to win (Starts tomorrow).

At the moment I'm training at Bandits, purely for its AFKability. Now guides say that you generally make up to 80 - 90k XP per hour at my levels, though I only reach about 55k - 60k xp per hour, sometimes a tad less sometimes a tad more. I use a Whip, DFS, Torso and Dragon Legs. I have tried Troll Invasion with Dragon Claws but seem to get very similar XP results if not a tad higher than Bandits, even though guides say I should be making 100k XP per hour (generally every monster is killed using DClaw spec so there is no time wasted killing without it).

What are some methods I can do that can truly make me 100k or more XP per hour, unless I am doing SOMETHING wrong at bandits or Troll Invasion ?

your first problem is you are using a DFS, not a defender. switch to that. and for power xp, you have to use turmoil or piety. And I recommend doing slayer tasks for the black mask bonus, or do armored zombies

 

Well as vKiLLeRv has said armored zombies is a plus because i have heard that they are amazing xp but i have never tried them out because i am max combat. Just a heads up you need a part of defender of varrock quest done to be able to go to armored zombies. There is a alter on top so you can use piety since you have 70 pray for faster xp.

 

AFK the monkey skeletons in apetoll...
if you dont get crashed by chinners its 130k-140k xp def EXP per hour with salve ammy E, extremes, and turmoil.
its VERY afk. i did 80-90 fairly quick.

 

Have you done Blood runs deep? If so, take a look at Dagg Sentis.

If not, go with monkey skeles at Ape Atoll. Prayer potions, supers and a familiar will speed up your def exp. If you're that determined to win the race, I suggest you bring extremes or even overloads if you can. Flasks will help you stay there longer. And of course an Aura, Reverence will probably be your best bet. Always have Piety and prot on.

GO to armoured zombies, they are 110K an hour.

 

Armoured zombies are fastest exp around. You should go there.

i havent messed with armored zombies as much but on a foreign server staying on it i get way better xp wearing full void i get better xp then monkeys or bandits just killing yaks granted its click intensive i still get verrrrrrry good xp there with no expenses whatsoever

 

Honestly, use full guthans and get bunyip and afk at bandits. Will cost like 4m total and like 10 hours.

 

Don't make up random numbers, it won't even be close to 4m. For the fastest exp around: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1406822 If you do not meet the requirements go for armoured zombies.

 

If you have done Defender of Varrock (fairly easy quest), I would highly recommend training to 99 defence at Armoured Zombies. With your stats, you should probably be able to rake in 80-90k p/h fairly easily.

If you have extremes or super sets & turmoil or at the very least piety, you can train right below the altar beside the ladder and use combat prayers to increase your exp even more. I trained a few of my combat stats to 99 there, and it is very easy to achieve 100k+ p/h if you have the right stats and gear. You should get fairly close to that range, and definitely more than what you are getting at bandits (plus you can make decent cash there too).

EDIT: Also AFK'able, like Bandits.

 

As others have said, armoured zombies are really good experience. However, you must have at least started Defender of Varrock in order to be eligible to kill them if you haven't already finished that quest.

 

On my Combat 130 main with maxed melee, i get about 120k per hour with D claws in troll invasion using piety.
