What to use exp lamps to?

Hey. I have a question to what I should do with the exp lamps that I get from some new quests. I'm like 5 quests away from my quest cape, and I still have to do Branches of Darkmeyer which rewards 3 50k scrolls to anything above level 60 I believe. I have 97 prayer, and I'm definitely not a rich player anymore. I literally have about 20M to my name on my account, and I'm not looking to spend it on skills. I'd rather earn the exp through penguin points and quests. Well, anyway, I'm doing these quests for experience and I wanted your input.

I have 94 Herblore (about 600k away from 95), and 85 runecraft. I was wondering what would be most worthwhile. Prayer and Herblore cost a decent amount of cash to level, but runecraft literally takes forever. I could use a lamp to each skill, yes, but I'd rather use them all on something at once. What would you do?

 

Well, what are your skills\any skills your particularity looking to have trained in the near feature?

I'd recommend summoning since its a pain to train, along with dungeoneering if your interested in those ones at all.

Runecrafting shouldn't be taking you forever, I'd avoid lamps on there tbh since runespan is so good for exp.


Rest is up to you I guess... out of herb or prayer, I'd pick the more expensive skill to level.

 

I always use mine on Summoning. It takes a while to get charms and if you want really fast charms (bursting/barraging rock lobs) than it is pretty expensive. After that, you have to buy the supplies.

If money isn't an issue, then use it on skills that take a long time such as Mining, Agility, Fishing.

 

I agree with them. Summoning can be both expensive and time consuming getting charms.
Thats what i would personally choose also.

Out of those three though i would choose prayer.

 

if youre looking to save money id use em on 96 herblore, for overloads etc. but i personally use it on summoning because i hate gathering charms

 

I would use it on farming just because it is the slowest skill in the game.

 

Well it depends. What do you gain by raining prayer any higher than 97? However you are very close to the required level for herblore. If I were you I'd use them on herblore just because it'd get you that much closer to being able to make overloads

use on slayer. slayer is now officially the slowest skill to reach 99 in at the moment.

 

I do have a pretty low summoning level, it's only like 81. I may use it to them. But, herblore is 400k away. I just want to make sure to use it on something that would be a slow skill. Farming is only 78 too.

 

Farming you can profit from, so I wouldn't say farming. Summoning would be good because that 150k exp is a huge difference and would help summoning significantly as well as the fact that getting charms is pretty lame. Summoning is my choice. Good luck.

 

Instead of letting skill costs intimidate you, try using the exp on a skill you actually dislike in general. I know I would take a 150k exp boost in something like Mining anyday, regardless of how much I could save using it on a buyable or a skill I enjoy.

 

you should use them on either summoning,farming, or herb. theirs no point imo to get 99 prayer so just use on herb or summoning, farming if you plan on getting that up anytime soon i guess summoning will probably be the most effective
