Call me a nerd, but I love the music in Minecraft - it's simple but well crafted. Most of it's nice and peaceful. Great to listen to when you're feeling mellow.


Back on the instrumental hype here - really nice piece from a truly great movie.

^ This is by far the #1 psychedelic/drug trip song EVER created in history. I can't even list how many times I have listened to this song while completely whacked on various drugs. Such a chill fucking song, and probably the only song by Sabbath where I actually worship Ozzy's vocals.

John Stanford - Sea of Tranquility


^ One of my all time favourite ambient tunes.. completely discovered off Youtube. If you like him, check out his website where he has plenty more tunes just like it.

Pretty Lights - Finally Moving


^ This song is really chill, and a pretty bad ass remix as well. The only thing that sucks is that when I first found it this song was so fresh, but now there have been at least 10 other artists who have used the same sample.

Led Zeppelin - No Quarter (LIVE)


^ One of the best songs of all time IMO. Man has this song sent me off on some bizarre trips... the song is derived from "No Quarter" or "the military practice of showing no mercy to a vanquished opponent and from the brave act of not asking for mercy when vanquished." Whenever I've listened to this song stoned out of my mind or high on acid, I always picture a Viking boat raiding a poor, innocent village, or something equally as terrifying.

This became a staple song at all Led Zeppelin concerts after it was written, and in this particular live version, the band goes on an improvised jam session "solo" that lasts for like 8 minutes lol. It is pretty fucking wicked, and the wah wah pedal on the lead guitar rift always sounded like a snake slithering at me through the air when I listened to this song whacked on acid. Too trippy to even describe.. drop a few tabs and watch the music transform for yourself.
