Alright so we all know that the original spiderman trilogy sucked, and was completely separate from the marvel movie-verse. Now we have a new spiderman coming out that seems much more likely to become part of said movie-verse.

Now in a trailer for the new spiderman, a mysterious person is being theorized to be Norman Osbourne (AKA the green goblin), which is very likely.

    NOW FOR THE BEST PART

This was taken off the set of the new Iron Man movie. Do you know who that is? That is Iron Patriot, a "corrupted" mash up of iron man and Captain America. If you are a fan of the comics you will know that this suit is owned by none other than.................

    NORMAN OSBOURNE!

What does this mean? It means we are glimpsing the first introduction of a spiderman character into the official marvel movie-verse. Now why would marvel have two separate "personas" in their own movie-verse? They wouldn't. That means that the new spider-man is VERY likely to become part of this movie-verse, and maybe even take up a role in the second avengers.

I am very, very excited about this theory. What do you guys think?

I actually liked the first three spiderman movies o_O . This should be interesting though, I just hope they don't screw up this Avengers back story like they did with Thor and Captain America, both of them were so dissapointing, but I guess the Avengers movie itself redeemed them. Anyways, glad to there are plans for more Avengers/Spiderman movies.

He was part of the dark avengers, a sort of "Anti-avengers" group. He is a mix of captain america and iron man.

Solomon Grundy was always my favorite comic book character for some reason. Wrong universe though.

Interesting idea though, I am not a huge follower of the Marvel comics. I am more into Dark Horse and DC.

sorry to burst your bubble but...
'As it turns out, neither Norman Osborn in any way, shape or form will be in "Iron Man 3." And that's not James Badge Dale in the armor... it's just a stuntman. The Iron Patriot armor will actually be worn by War Machine, aka James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), most likely as part of some sort of military initiative.'

I thought the rights to Spiderman were owned by Sony...? Wouldn't marvel have to pay huge amounts of money to include spiderman into their avengers movies? I'm just speculating though.
