Sticky about server time

I think a sticky explaining that Sythe time and local time may be different and you may be unbanned slightly later than originally expected is warranted in the dispute section.
A good quarter of all disputes are about people complaining their infraction bans are lasting several hours longer than they should - this wold cut down on the majority of those disputes, saving the mods some work.

 

Just write one up and PM a global with it and see what they say. That is usually what the staff say about stickies.

 

Wouldn't he hard to do, but people still manage to somehow not see the stickies and rant on about the server time anyway, we'd still get disputes about it regardless.

 

People always get confused with the lowest left where it says things like:


All times are GMT -7. The time now is 08:38 PM.


However, this time is just what you set. If you set GMT -5, it'll say All times are GMT -5. I don't think it deserves its own sticky though.

 

Denied. Mods shouldn't even waste time responding to those disputes. Delete and move onward.
