stupid or smart

So I'm a generous guy so I decided to take 50m out of the bank and give 1,2, or 3m to random people asking trivia questions. It felt good doing it but now im down 50m lmao :huh: Should I do this every now and then?

 

No real reason to do it, but no reason not to do it if you don't mind.

 

Mm I would applaud you for your generosity. Its very hard to find people doing stuff like this just because he feels like giving something out.

Do not feel sad about it and think about how many kid's day you have brighten up.

eh if you think about it in money terms you coulda given that $25 to charity or something for kids with cancer or starving kids in africa but it's not bad

 

It depends on how much money you have. If you are a good staker and are on 1B/hour then 50M won't hurt too much. But if you are low on funds, this is not a good idea. Also, don't feel that now you have to give money away.

 

I loved doing this before there was a RuneScape wiki and such =p. I occasionally, but not as often, still do this.

Rune Riot made things much more fun and easy =].

I just wouldn't give large amounts... 3m for a question... tone it down and do perhaps 500k for each question... more, less, whatever =p.

 

I personally buy 20-100 mil worth of combat supplies whips and f2p stuff and go to my home worlds. Find legit players normally low level , i then take them out and have drop party. Been maxed player in cb and close to been maxed in all cb skills i find it fun to help out new players

 

you should do this if it makes you happy to see the people who get a reward and be happy.
If so then you are a good guy

As said above, you could donate it to charity. Rather than people on Runescape who won't really appreciate it if they think they actually earned it by simply answering a question. You're basically giving money out to people that have a house, access to the internet and more. Some of them has more than enough on RS but they will always want more, who wouldn't.

I think you would feel better, and it would be a better thing, if you sold it then donated it to charity. Or do it yourself when you find a homeless guy outside. Nothing better than seeing the smiles on their faces when you give them something. If you do decide to do it yourself, watch out for the people that just blows the money they beg for on cigarettes and alcohol. I always watch out for them as they won't really appreciate what you give them.

 

Don't feel stupid at all man, it is very nice to hear that you are actually willing to do something completely unselfish and generous for your fellow RuneScape players.

To be honest, we need more people like that in the game these days. The community feel in the game has changed immensely since I first joined RuneScape, and people nowadays are greedier than ever before. I applaud you for stepping up and doing something kind and generous like this. Good for you

 

I would do this but I really dont know how to sell gold on here very good scared I'll get scammed and I dont want to sell to a gold shop for as cheap as they want I do have paypal..

You could use some of that money and donate to sythe instead? 75% of Runescape players are generally little immature kids.

 

The more wealth you spread to the poorer players the less power you have over them i wouldn't do it unless it wad 500k-

500K should be enough.

I used to run to random people and ask them hot or cold.
If they won, I gave them 500k xD

before i got into the black market areas of gaming, i used to do this to help lowbies out, coming from the game since 2001, ik how much of a pita it can be to earn money, i did it even when i din't have the money to spare


/shrug its just pixels but it does feel good, and it makes the other person have a little bit better of a day.

 

I used to do this once in a while because i enjoy heling people and usualy end up giving my money to friends when they ask for it but, nowadays i don't have much so i don't do it haha But i guess do what makes you feel good
