    Sick of excessive bumping

This excessive bumping is getting pretty annoying, by 1 person and his chinese workers or whatever especially.

They excessively bump on their buying and selling thread, EVERY day.
Me and others have reported their posts several times, no action has been taken for some reason.

I'd also like to throw in there, that this person and his workers have been warned several times in the past about this specific rule.

Here are some clear examples of the excessive bumping:

    PLENTY of examples
From just like 2 days, selling thread only:

Saying thanks or whatever is excessive bumping too, obviously.

    4 hours later:

    1 hour later:

Replying to a customer 2 hours later to say they'll be ready to assist for orders..

    7 hours after last post:

    4 hours later:

    2 hours later:

Saying thanks like 2 hours later to a customer via thread..

Saying thanks for business (not a vouch) to bump thread again.. 3 hours after a customer has posted.

Video explained a situation and kebab replies over 3 hours later which is totaly unneeded and can be done via PM aswell.

[size=+1]All these bumps are from like 2 days.. .And only from the Selling thread.
I have not quoted the normal bumps, only excessive bumping.. imagine that

I'm sure we all know there are many infractable posts in there.

I'm going through the posts you linked and I'll see if there's any spam/excessive bumping. Will report back shortly

Post 1: It's essentially a vouch for their customer, it's a direct reply as well so it's allowed
Post 2: Infracted for excessive bumping
Post 3: It's 13 hours later (AM vs PM) so it's allowed
Post 4: I'll let him know to just leave that to pm's, deleted
Post 5: Deleted, again, she should stick to pm's
    Post 6: Deleted
    Post 7: Deleted
Post 8: I ignored a report on a similar post earlier today but now I think this kind of post should be left to pm. Deleted
Post 9: I would argue that "thanks for business" is in fact a vouch. I'll allow it

What's the rule on bumping? I've only noticed that if I try to post on a topic of mine prior to 8 hours being over, it gives me the 'Wait 8 hours before posting' notice. I just follow that really.

I have replied to peoples posts on my threads though, as in - if they ask me a question that needs an answer, I.E: 'What's you skype msn' / 'What do you have in stock' etc. I tend to reply to those questions, before 8 hours. Is that acceptable?

I agree with all this, Not only do r2pleasents staff Excessively bump, But when we report the posts that we usually get infracted for nothing happens to them, I haven't seen r2pleasent, r2anne or kebab12345 temped at all, And they go as far as website advertisement in posts which is meant to be a 1 month ban, Disappointing to see them and lots others get away with it.

EH, tbh i only think you care because he's competition. If what i said isn't the case, why do you honestly care? His employee bumping his thread excessively doesn't hurt you in any way shape or form...Unless of course you're trying to defeat competition.

    Opinion: Gtfover it.

I agree hugely with this. That thread stays full of excessive bumping. Sometimes I would check it and it's a customer posting then several bumps - all in one day. They do a lot of sneaky bumping and I used to try to report it but as you said there was nothing ever really done about. Most of the time the staff who handled it would say something like 'Borderline, like usual.' or something along those lines.

    Edit:
And I don't sell or buy gold, it's just an observation.

There was already a huge thread about this. The consensus was that:

    - No double posts within 8 hours between ANY employees.

You will notice we follow this rule, religiously, and that any variation of this rule was decided to be unenforceable.

No it wasn't, saying thanks or thanks for business and stuff like that is still spam and you know it.

Especially if you reply to a customer to say 'thanks' 2-4 hours LATER.
That's for the sole reason to bump your thread, which is obvious.

As Just un Dude said posting 'Thanks' 3 hours later is a sneaky bump. People get busy and that is understandable, but 30 minutes is a reasonable time to thank someone. Not sneakily bumping your thread 3 hours later, which is completely ridiculous.

Also in the thread you refer to it was decided that things such as 'thanks' or 'added' was still counted as spam because it can be taken to PM.

    excessive bumping is this rule:

Excessive bumping**: - No double posting / delete posts within 8 hours (spam rules still apply)

If we didn't double post / delete post within 8 hours, it's not a double post. Maybe you are arguing about spam, which is different.

Also why are they permitted to advertise their website in posts? I thought that was against the rules.

Users will be banned for 1 month for the following:
Advertising: Advertising a site in a post for the first offence will be a 1 month ban, further punishments may lead to a permanent ban. Includes links to other Markets, Goldfarm sites, etc.. If you wish to legitimately advertise your site on sythe.org then e-mail: [email protected]. Advertising Bots will be permanently banned

    excessive bumping is this rule:

Excessive bumping**: - No double posting / delete posts within 8 hours (spam rules still apply)

If we didn't double post / delete post within 8 hours, it's not an excessive bump. Maybe you are arguing about spam, which is different, and I believe is infracted differently. Unlike you, I don't spend my whole day looking over other sellers' posts looking for any possible infractions, so don't quote me on that.

Either way, all I see here are people whining about others' success. If you want to do the same thing, you are welcome to. If you are upset about the bump rules again, good luck inventing new rules that people won't use to maximize exposure on their thread. Good sellers will always find a way to maximize exposure.

You want to set a limit on time between replies to a customer? If so, it needs to be enforced forum-wide. Good luck with that, you will NEVER be able to enforce such a thing. This is a FORUM.

I'm talking about whatever you would like to call it, to bump your thread every time you get the chance.
Which is unfair to all other users with threads in the same sections who seem to have no problem following 1 simple rule.

Our website is simply a place for users to pay for their orders, and find our Live Chat. We welcome them back on Sythe following payment to leave feedback.

Sythe has allowed users to post their GP sites in their threads, the same way we are allowed PA links.

What you are complaining about is us using the current rules to maximize our bumps. You are perfectly welcome to follow the same procedure. Why are you complaining about it?

I remember something about us needing to change that to actually reflect the fact that we let members post their own gold selling sites on threads. I'll find out.

If its breaking the rule report it. I don't care who it is. I've already seen r2 and Anne make a stink about this. Maybe we should hold everyone equal and personally some posts should be infracted instead of just deleted.
