The Hunger Games

Still need to see this movie, only read the first two books.

 

great movie for sure. look forward to the dvd release so i can watch it again.

just made me mad that its a direct copy of battle royale

 

movie was pretty good

 

I have not yet read the books though I am hoping to very soon because after watching the movie when it came out I was amazed at how good it was.

Movie was okay however they left a lot of things out

 

Decent book, terrible movie.

 

Has anyone seen Battle Royale? It's pretty much the same idea about a bunch of teens fighting to the death, but a lot more violent than The Hunger Games.

 

The Hunger Games has actually been compared to Battle Royale and they both have the same concept too. I haven't seen Battle Royale yet though.

 

First two books were great. I haven't had a chance to read the third one yet.

The movie was okay. Very over-dramatic in some sections, and the movie did not give some parts of the books the justice they deserved.

Thresh is the best.

 

i hated the ending to the series, however. Don't want to ruin the series for everyone, but they were building up to somewhat like "soulmates" and then they never see each other again. It was a pretty crappy ending imo.
