i want to buy nightmare, but want to know what kind of gear drops...anything good? I heard something about a rainbow sword?

 

Drops will give you more than the actual cost if that's what you're looking for.

They vary from normal to legendary, I think it can even drops some set, though only in Inferno I think.

Most of the time they drop magics and rares.

It's not really got EXP, it's more of gold.
