    Adding shit to your car

I got an 03 Honda Civic Sedan LX

Around 2 months ago I installed a sound system in my car - 1200w amplifier, two 12" subwoofers, and four aftermarket speakers.

Today I'm getting 6000k HiD lights for my car (high and low beam: bi-xenon bulbs)

After that I want to tint out all my windows, then finally install fog lights and buy 3000k HiD lights for those fog lights.

Does anyone else dish out loads of money into their car? After all this I'm probably just going to save up for a Mustang or something.

Everyone who doesn't really appreciate cars tells me I'm wasting my cash, but I love having a nice car and I don't mind/regret/have second thoughts about spending $250 on new lights, etc.

I personally enjoy fixing up my car, and if you enjoy it, spend away. I see no harm in spending on something you enjoy :)

I would rather spend money on parts under the bonnet, rather than speakers and exterior bits like body kits.

Not atm, but I might do some work soon. I can't decide because it's kinda a junker now. Reliable, but a junker.

It's wired up to put some speakers in, and the tweeter on the left side is cut out so my stereo sounds like a some broken ass headphones that play only a mono track on the left side. I think I might order some speaker online and replace those, maybe get a little bump in the back, but I don't listen to much music like that.

I also have some dead switches on the side of the center console that I assume are wired to control under-glow, but I'm not 100% on that either. But who knows, maybe I'll get some glow too lol.

I've got a truck and I just try my best to keep it in good condition. Always change the oil around every 5k, wash it well whenever it gets dirty, correct any paint chips, and just generally fix anything that goes wrong with it.

The only real aftermarket shit on my truck is a sub w/ deck and and a flowmaster exhaust.

I only spent $40 for a pair of pretty decent subs. I don't go out and try to pimp my PT Cruiser much.

I prefer to keep everything in working order more than make everything luxurious. AKA fix brakes, cleaning solution pump for windows, wiper blade motors, etc. Anything that could break or become faulty

I've got a friend who sinks SO much money into his car that it is just unbelievable. I understand that some guys like to have nice cars, or they are passionate about working on their cars, etc.

This kid though gets everything inserted into his car FOR him, and he just likes driving around a flashy car. He's probably put $50-75k into his car at this current time.
