I don't think it'll come legal in US, in netherlands it is (where i live) and they're going to have a "weedpass" you'll need to ask the gov. for a license to buy weed in the coffeeshops, which is a big step because coffeshops will get less customers.

 

this may be a stupid question but is a coffeeshop like a cafe where they serve drinks? or what? just curious. And do they allready sell marijuana in them? or like why coffee shops to sell them and not just a medical dispensary?

Prisons and Pharmacies would lose too much money. Aswell as the Ruuber, Plastic, Steel, and oil industries. Why are you people so concerned with Medical Marijuana and not the industrialization of HEMP? I think there would be a much more significant change if the Farmers took over again(Us), than just medical marijuana. Is medical all you people care about?

Well im pretty sure there are still things made from HEMP but if marijuana was legalized, then HEMP, would be legal as well so....they sorta go hand in hand...

Exactly, I agree with you entirely. It's all about controlling the income from businesses that would otherwise be harmed by the legalisation of marijuana.

I don't advocate over-use, but neither do I support over consumption of alcohol, cigarettes or any other thing that can cause addiction and severe physical/mental issues in people. You can become sluggish from drinking too much alcohol in your life, you can become obese and severely depressed/anxious from overindulging in foods, and you can develop respiratory problems or cancerous growths from smoking. At the end of the day, there are always going to be simple people who become so reliant on something, and then blame it for their undoing later on.

I would definitely support it if there was a more controlled system such as a maximum you can have per week (just as an example) with a card or electronic device that must be linked to your identity each time you go out to somewhere to buy it legally. But of course that brings forth a lot of other problems with control and implementation.

Either way it's not an easy issue to address, but I believe it will eventually become legalised.

 

The funny thing is, Male Hemp of was outlawed because of the female plant's ability to get you high. Croc of shit excuse. They're fucking us, we could have 50 cent gas prices.

 

I smoke weed everyday, I think it's better than drinking alcohol for the pure fact it don't make you agressive and do stupid things. The only reason they won't make it legal in the UK is because they can't tax it. Too many people illegally sell it and grow it. If they did make it legal i think crime in the UK would go down by atleast 25%.

 

They need to straight up legalize all drugs. If someone wants to walk into a store and buy meth. Fuck it. If they want to make it themselves. Fuck it. Just because it's legal doesn't mean it will be at every street corner of america/anywhere else.

 

I doubt creating meth would ever be legal, because creating it would have the same risks of creating an armed bomb. Which can have obvious devastating aftermaths if someone constructs it incorrectly.

i do have a question for some people tho, how can marijuana be legalized within a country in oh-so many states, but yet other states not have it be legalized, but in the big picture it's still 100% illegal? I've been thinking about this for quite some time and would love to hear what you guys have to say about it

 

They can't. It is a federal law that restricts marijuana for recreational use, they can however legalize it for medicinal purposes. You must have a recommendation from a licensed physician though.

Right, but they usually don't just give cards out for everything. California may be a little more lenient though, im not sure. In Michigan where I am from, you have to be basically dying and in terrible pain to get it.
