Can you eat to much fruit?

So the last few days I have been on a diet, and I will be honest this is hard...

I have been drinking a lot of water and I have not eaten a single thing I would call "Unhealthy", I have been going on multiple 1 hour walks every day and I have been doing various cardio things (Push ups, Sit Ups & Squat jumps). I no I am only a few days in but I can already feel a difference, My Legs don't hurt as much I am getting more sleep & not waking up ever hour or so and my acne has cleared up drastically.

I have to confess, Im starving... and every time I feel like getting a biscuit or a bag of chips I go and get a massive glass of water, yet I still feel hungry so instead of eating junk I go and eat fruit, but I have been eating 5 or 6 bits of fruit every day... Is this to much?

Also, while I have this thread open what other cardio work outs. I already have fairly big muscle and build I just want cardio workouts that will make my belly fat, chest fat and leg fat gone...

    Thanks in advanced.

You need protein, fiber, calcium, and if your body doesn't get all it needs, nothing will work out, I recommend you use a little less fruit, find something with good protein and low saturated fats.

Also, eating to much fruit can be a issue, if you stockpile on vitamin C or on potassium, your body will be dependent on the higher levels of those two nutrients, and you will ALWAYS have to consume what your eating now.

You don't have to only eat fruit. Just try and eat foods which have low fat and cholesterol. If you feel hungry after physical activity, then it means that you are using energy, which means burning fat.

Depends what your goals are. Fat loss, muscle gains, leaning out, hybrid of both. All effect what you should be eating and how much of it along with your body type.

Can you eat to much fruit?

I lost 8kg since february and still going from dieting and working out (cardio some days, weights other days). Limit yourself to 5 (or 6) meals a day - that is, 3 mains and 2 snacks. Snacks should be things like apples, bananas and even things like muesli with low fat milk or low fat natural yoghurt (get the greek style one, with the live cultures too). Eggs are always a good one to have after a workout, and I like having them for lunch. Lean chicken breast with greens, rice and low fat sauce of your choosing is good for dinners. Cans of tuna with plain salad and olive oil/vinegar dressing is nice too and I have this whenever it fits in my day. You can cheat once or twice a week (MAX) and still lose weight steadily, I've been a bit bad lately and had a bit carbs every couple of days, but I am burning it off most days anyway. Also it is important to get enough blood glucose so you don't feel lethargic during the day (your brain metabolises glucose as a fuel, so if you COMPLETELY cut out carbs you're just asking to feel tired and turned off all the time).

I've done this without protein powder, although I have considered it, I really don't think it's necessary. It feels like cheating to me. I decided at the start "if I'm going to lose weight and get fit, then I want to do it the hard way because that will be the most satisfying way". Also I haven't gone to the gym once (waste of money if you want to lose weight). Not only is treadmill running easier than street running, it's also hell of a lot more boring. Just get out and enjoy what you're doing. I started off running about 2km every day or two with lots of stops, until I buggered my knee for a month. So I turned to stationary cycling until it recovered, and now I'm back to it again 2 months later. I run over 5km now with relative ease, and my trail has big hills too which really gets my heart going. Planning to run a half marathon later on in the year with some friends, so the training will hopefully pay off for then ;)

    Good luck

Can you eat to much fruit?

I watch my diet and I usually try to get the daily vitamins obtained through fruit without overdoing it.

Fruits may contain excessive amounts of sugar and carbs. Everything in moderation.

    My Daily Routine (FYI)
    Breakfast:
Milk and Cherios-Calcium and Whole Grain
    Oatmeal-Fiber
    Granola Bar on the Go

    Snacks:
    Granola Bar-Fiber/Protein
Apple- Makes you Full (Green Apples less sugar)
Cheese Stick or peanuts - I eat this when I crave Salt but dont want fatty potato chips

    Lunch:
Anywhere from Turkey Breast Sandwhich to Spinach Salad (No dressing)
Because I'm asian I tend to eat some white rice with steamed veggies and usually lean beef or chicken

    Before Workout:
    Banana - Potassium
Protein shake before and after workout
No Gatorade (sugary drinks) soley water maybe Seltzer if i am in the mood for a sparkling drink.

Usually run 4-6 miles (I run with my cross country team)
Followed by a cycle of 2 different and opposite muscle workouts- For example chest and bi ceps. Next day back and tri ceps. etc.
I have a heart rate monitor to determine whether I am working to the best of my ability.

    Dinner:
Healthy wrap, broccoli, spinach (Healthy greens) another Glass of milk just for stong bones. Lower portions in general so I gain weight/calories back.

Sleep early as it is proven to lose weight and make sure you don't diet for a week and then splurge on junk food when no one's looking. You are only cheating yourself.

I hope this information helps you. Any Questions Pm me!
    Have a nice day.

fruits = sugar. You overeat, you get the same effect that you get from eating overeating any other sugary thing. Fat.
