How much would you value Dicing clans at?

Well, certain dicing clans like Dragon dyce, Smokin mils, first etc.


What would you value them in US$ and how much you would pay if they are ever on sale?

 

Thousands and thousands of dollars.. I would say Dragon dyce is worth like 8.000-10.000$? It's just a guess of course. They make billions a week probably so it has to be worth a lot.

 

Well considering for ranks in the Top dicing clans will cost your around 6B I'd assume the clan it's self would be worth $40,000-80,000 but that's just a guesstimate.

 

Considering the above info I probably was a bit off.. 40-80K$ seems outrageous though :nuts:

 

Probably around $10-20k realisticly.

 

The only thing that has the potential to ruin such a business is Jagex removing the free trade.

I see it highly unlikely they would remove it.

But take into account, if you get 1 player a week wanting to become a host and paying 6B as well as the countless amounts of money they take in on 10% of bets, $40-80 I don't see as seriously outrageous.

If each host makes 500M a day, and you take a 100M commission. call it 1-2B a day on commissions, that's 7-14B a week + 6B on new host making a potential 20B a week selling @ $.5 for instance is a not so unrealistic $10,000 a week.

 

What I don't understand is where did this whole market come from? I mean back in 2005 gambling was unheard of besides staking. Flowers were around but no one ever played "The flower game" or "Frosty Flowers". When I first saw the flower game and dicing I remember thinking what a weird thing to have in Runescape. I guess dicing/flowers caught on pretty quick though.

 

As soon as dicing came out, almost every other random producing item will of been checked for the ability to gamble..

It was really about getting there first and nothing else.

 

They are worth THOUSANDS of dollars easy, even in a bad week he probably makes over 5bil+ and that's just crazy.

 

I'd easily value Dragon Dyce at 10Gs +.

 

Most of the popular dicing clans are valued at least US$50k. That's my stand.

 

I don't see anyone paying a significant amount of money for a dicing clan. They are so successful because the owner is trusted. Ones the owner ship changes hands how are you supposed to trust that person just because they bought the clan?

 

I imagine very few people would be made aware of the change. Of course, that would be in an ideal world though.

 

Anywhere from 20-90k USD

 

I highly doubt that somebody potentially willing to pay the upwards cost of $50,000 for a dicing clan would do anything to tarnish the trustworthiness of the clans name.

 

I would say 80k+ easily for dragon dyce, that's just going off of what people are saying that they earn weekly.

 

Anywhere from 10-30k $

 

Compared to a real life business in what it earns as a company it would be worth so much money. The fact that jagex can kill it at any moment however puts a low cap on the value as there is so much risk.

 

No one would be willing to pay $50k though lol.

 

I and a lot of people wouldn't entirely know an exact value of a clan, but I think it's rediculous how much irl money a runescape dicing clan is worth.
