Where did it go?

3 men are walking together and its getting late. They decide to stop at a hotel, when they go in they are told it is 30$ so they each pay 10$. When they go upstairs the manager realizes that there was a deal today and a room was actually 25$ so he gives 5$ to the bellhop to give to the men. The man doesn't know how to split 5$ evenly so he pockets 2$ and gives each man 1$. Each man upstairs paid 9$ for the room then. 9$ x 3 guys = 27$ + the 2$ the bellhop took = 29$. Where did the other dollar go?

 

Each man doesn't pay $9, it might sound confusing but they all payed $10, and the other $5 was distributed.
