    Help me Lose Weight!

    So there was this girl I liked in high school, we never had any classes together never new each others names or anything like that. Every day I would have to walk from 1 side of the school to the other to get to one of my classes, I would go the long way just to walk past her... Every time I did we both seemed to just look at each other. (Back then I was a lot smaller then what I am now).

    I left school in grade 10 and never had the chance to ask her, her name and I got over it. Its been 3 years now and 2 weeks ago I got a message on face book (Only just read it as I don't really use Facebook) and its from a name I don't no so I open it and it says.

    Any way at this point I am still unsure who this is so I add her and have a look at a few of her pictures and I finally click on. ohhh that girl...

    We got talking last night and I wouldn't mind meeting up with her but first I would really like to lose some weight.

    My Diet is bad, I drink a lot of ice tea and powerade I also buy a lot of junky foods and stuff like that.

    I work full to as a bricklayer so this will help me out a lot. but what else can I do?

    I Have more fat on my legs I have a large muscle build due to work so I am not looking for weight lifting or anything like that just fat losing...

    Help please.

    Wow.. after 3 years and 2 weeks, you finally find out her name and she still remembers you and come forth to you. That's great to hear. Almost like a good to be true. To lose fat fast, do A LOT of cardiovascular exercises and have a strict diet. Burn more calories than you take in. Diet is as important as exercise. Do not consume junky food and try not having the "once a while is okay" attitude. It'll lead to failure. Good luck!

    Whens the best times to eat?

    Should I eat before I work out or after?
    How long before/after ect? thats what I need help with.

    Eat 3 times a day,morning,lunch and evening(Don't eat much there)also if you eat before you go sleep,worse thing you could possibly do because when you sleep your stomach does not digest food you ate,so if you hungry at night(you should still eat because its hard to fall a sleep when you are hungry)eat like,apple,banana or any fruit you like except for grapes and also tea if you like.

    Depending on how much you need to lose.....

    If you need to lose a little bit, all it takes is drink water ONLY, about 64 ounces a day, and eat healthier with a more strict diet. And you can ONLY lose weight if you do eating healthier in sync with exercising, I stopped exercising and I've not lost anymore weight, but I haven't gained any either.

    If you need to lose a lot of weight, do what I said above, and if you WANT, you can try weight loss pills. These pills aren't the normal shitty ones you see on TV. These ones actually work and they have Ephedra in them (Which is illegal in the US but you can still order online and they ship to your house). If you'd like the link for them, hit me up with a PM. I've used them, and I went from 357 to 313 weight.

    As for the dude above... What he is saying is not true at all. First off, you lose resting calories per day no matter what, which is your weight x 10, so if you weigh 200, you'll lose 2000 just by sitting around, which why eating healthier even without exercising helps. So, he says eating before bed is bad, that is actually a MYTH, and I'll tell you why. My mother is 55 years old and she's like skeletor, she's about 100 pounds and you can see her bones. She has tried to gain weight, and she even eats before bed every night, which does NOT make her gain any weight, and it is not bad for you. I also know that because my friend is a bodybuilder and I'm getting into bodybuilding myself shortly. As for him saying it 3 meals per day, that is absurd as well. If you're legitly trying to lose weight, you need to eat 4-6 small meals per day. So yeah, if you need any help bro, feel free to pm me. Good luck.

    EDIT: What the other guy, DMR says is somewhat true, about the "once in awhile" is okay thing. I myself treat myself about once a month, but not to anything extremely bad. Like I'll grab a bag of chips and have some, or I'll take a trip to Denny's with my friends. It's all about willpower my friend. Someone who is weak minded will fail every time, especially if they do the "once in awhile" thing.

    You definitely need to change your diet if you want to lose weight. Start eating healthy food, and also eat smaller portions when you do eat. Exercise would be good as well if you want to shed weight fast. I know that you said you have a physically-intense job and so you aren't worried about lifting weights, but what about cardio exercises like running, biking etc?

    If you are able to fit a cardio workout into your mornings before work, that would be fantastic. When you first wake up in the morning, your body has literally "fasted" overnight and your stomach is empty, so it's a great time to go do a short, intense cardio workout if you want to burn excess fat and calories. Don't eat breakfast until after your cardio workout. Doing cardio every morning, combined with a healthy diet & daily exercise as a brickylayer, you are probably looking at getting back in shape quite fast.

    Just a side note - I think you should definitely meet up with this girl when you are ready :p It is not everyday that a pretty girl from school contacts you years later out of the blue and makes an effort to get to know you. That is a heaven send, brother! So take advantage of it.

    Touching story! When you realised it was her you must've felt great. So how bad is your situation? Do you consider yourself fat, or just a bit chubby? Anyways, if there is a girl involved and you really want to get to know her better that should be enough motivation to eat and drink healthy. Just drink water, a lot. Hydration will help you to lose weight. Before each meal, drink a glass of water. It will fill your stomach. And whenever you want to grab a biscuit without being really hungry, think of that girl and you should be fine.
