    PlayerAuctions Help

Hey guys, I have a couple questions to ask regarding playerauctions.

Firstly, how do I add additional contact details to my profile? I noticed some sellers have PM, email, MSN and ICQ listed whereas my profile only shows email as a means of communication. How do I add MSN, Skype and ICQ to the profile?

I registered only yesterday so I am not clear on how the buyer/seller communication typically occurs. PA says that in the event of a dispute only onsite communication will be taken into account but offsite IMs can be used to coordinate an ingame trade. So do sellers generally exchange MSN, ICQ and Skype details with buyers and coordinate a trade ingame? How do sellers make sure they have sufficient proof of delivery in the event of a dispute? Do they request that a buyer messages them the IGN, Server, Town the trade will take place in over Playerauction PMs just to be safe and have proof? I also plan to screenshot and video record all my trades but that wouldn't be effective without having proof that the buyer was indeed the person I traded so I assume I need an onsite message with the buyer's ingame name corresponding to the one in the video/screenshot?

I hear of PA imposing hefty fines on sellers who "solicit offsite trading" so I was wondering if me selling on Sythe, as well as PA, counts as "soliciting offsite trading" and warrants a fine? Or does this only apply if I persuade a buyer who contacted me through PA to trade offsite?

And finally, I've read of many buyers facing issues such as suddenly being requested to provide ID photocopies, SSNs and other sensitive info AFTER they have sent payment to PA, essentially trapping them. Do sellers face the same risk of having their disbursement withheld until further information beyond the simple paypal email, address and phone number, is provided?

If you have any other advice for a beginner seller on PlayerAuctions I would be happy to hear it :)

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

You used to be able to add your contact information yourself I think, now you have to e-mail [email protected] for it I think.

For delivery proof, sellers can video record or screenshot the delivery.
Screenshot of second trade screen + after both accepting.

The offsite selling, don't worry about it.

And the e-mailing a copy of your ID to them is only for buyers who wish to purchase a decent amount. It's only a one time thing aswell.
