Very very aggrevating RS

Yesterday, I decided to go back to RS after quitting for a while. I also have been trying to get on RS since yesterday. Whenever I click on play now, all it shows is a black screen. I have gone up all the way to deleting my 160 dollar antivirus and deleting a bunch of files. I tried all the ways the technical support tells me to do on RS and it is not working. Any Ideas guys?

I DID update java. I don't know where I said I didnt update Java.

 

Tried:

Deleting jagex cache?
Used a different Internet browser?
System restored to a time when RS loaded up?

 

Tried the client? or swiftkit?

System restore is when you restore all the settings and such on your PC to an earlier time. Just go to start and search 'system restore' and then choose a date when RS was working. You shouldn't lose your files as it only restores the settings and such.

 

thats weird are you using a mac or something? what OS are you using? and are you sure you've got the latest java? or your firewall has blocked it?

 

Try downloading the client. Factory defualt settings didnt work? Hmm
