Okay, I'm a pure and I need a few suggestions.

71-80 Strength : Where should I train it, What gear?

Rock crabs or experiments for Strength and Yaks with bronze knives for range?

 

Forgot to mention, I'm 45 Prayer, Have firecape, fury, bring, climb boots, addy gloves. If that helps.

 

For ranged, Yaks with iron knives, for strength I would probably go with rock crabs.

 

for strength , do what above posters said.
for range if you have money to spend go chinning at money skeletons.

What about bandits? Is that not a good idea? And where are yaks?

 

Meh, Bandits are more effective if you have 70 defence for guthans.
Yaks are on the island Neitiznot.

for range cannon+knives at ethier bandits or rock crabs

or chinning at ape atol or mummies.

gear wise, just the basic stat boosting gear/prayer gear for melee and vice versa for range. you should know what gear since your a pure, your selection isn't very high.
