How long does it take to send money to someone else on paypal?

I just got my paypal account with my credit card and I want to buy runescape money in increments like £5 at a time so i dont get scammed but im wondering how long it takes to send money because ive searched and some people are saying it takes days while others are saying its instant but they dont seem to know what they are talking about.

it depends on how you send the money using paypal. if you use a credit card to send money, the person you send it to has access imediately. if you send money using an echeck or account transfer, the person you send it to can see the transaction right away, but can't withdrawl the money until it has cleared the bank, usually 2-3 days.

 

i just read that its instant if the money is already sitting in your paypal account, but if it comes out of your credit card then it takes a while. can someone confirm.

 

If you credit card is linked to your paypal account its instant
