How to get my login name?

Hello guys,

i forgot the login name of my skiller, i only know the changed name, is there any way to get my login name?

EDIT: when i add the account i don't say the previous name btw.

 

Check emails sent to you by jagex, payment emails etc. Sometimes they start with "Dear, [username]"

 

if i knew the e-mail registered on it, i could also recover the account, that's the problem, idk the e-mail?

 

uhh... if you are anything like most people you might have taken a screenshot at some point, i would try looking through those

 

Send an email to Jagex, I think they can check accs made on your IP.

 

Not sure how you could forget. Sounds like you are trying to acquire someone's log in name for account recovering

 

probably cant get it back.

 

Im fairly sure Jagex won't give out account details like that in an email. If Video is wrong and you really forot your own account's name, then I'm afraid there is no way to get it back, aside from simply remembering it. There is no system of "recovering" a lost username.

 

Is it originally yours or bought here on sythe?

 

get on the rsof and complain a jmod will figure it out for you as long as you can provide enough evidence to say u are who u say u are.

 

it's originally mine, but i botted it pretty much everything, so never had to login (the bot did) anyone got a solution?

 

The bot might have saved logs with encryped passwords etc. but the usernames might not be encrypted, try looking through your files. I recently deleted some old RSBuddy stuff and found a couple encrypted passwords of my own accounts.

 

I already searched trough my computer, but i used a bot that is not active anymore, and has been deleted from my pc (bought a new laptop so can't get access to my old pc)

 

Jagex doesnt give any account information out Just try accounts im sure u remember something

 

Are you sure it wasn't created after Nov 2010? If so, it will be an e-mail login.

 

check your password history on your browser and see what e-mail address you used to check your e-mail?
if that doesn't work and you have it nowhere else written down and you can't remember it, then you are done.

 

Your pretty much screwed.

Best bet is to make another account.

Check the email's you received from JaGeX that might help.

 

Go to the 'Account Help' section of the RS Forums and create a post stating your problem. I did this the other day about my registered email and I got a reply from a J Mod within 10/15 minutes. You'll have to do this on another account, though.
