how can i improve my slayer melee equipment

Doesn't need to be improved that's good that's what I use to wear on my main

EDIT : You can wear ''initiate'' for prayer bonus it helps a lot with slaying I used it also most of the time I guess that's what everyone wears when slaying.

 

Dragon defender. Fire cape/kiln cape/ardy cape/soul wars cape. Rapier, goliath gloves. Get the ring imbued if it's not already

 

Reverence Aura

 

kabal pretty much summed it all up. if you can afford torva and have an abundance of wealth...then use that! unicorn/yak also helps if you have the required summoning lvl.

 

Theres no need for spirit shields since all tasks can be camped with Soul Split flashing. Just use a D-Def. Get goliathas if you want, since they help a LOT for crush tasks like mith drags, gargs, waterfiends, etc. Finally, get a Fire Cape or Kiln Cape. You want high damage per second; a few prayer points is worthless because prayer pots are so cheap.

Dont bother with torva or any tank gear at all. There is no significant advantage for these in slayer because, like I said, all tasks can be camped without banking. Even mith drags, the "strongest" slayer monster, can be completed in one single bank trip with just soul split flashing.

There is no significantly good aura for slayer but master knock out is notable. Of all the auras, this is the only one that can really impact slayer xp at all. Reverence is fail; vampirism is nice for some tasks like WFs to reduce the amount of time you have to prayer flash.
