For Pures doing Jad/Kiln

If you are thinking of using a familiar to carry some potions, but you don't want to gain defence exp from the familiar attacking monsters in the caves, this is what you can do:

1. Teleport to Daemonhime.
2. Summon your familiar. (Bull Aunt, Terror Bird, War Tortoise, Pack Yak)
3. Fill it's inventory with potions.
4. Log out and log in to any F2p world.
5. Start a dungeon.
6. Log out without leaving the dungeon and log in to any P2p world.
7. You will appear at the bottom of the stairs you go down whenever you finish a dungeon.
8. To check if your familiar is still holding on to the items you gave it, simply try to summon any other familiar that does not have the ability to hold items.
9. Take one familiar scroll of the familiar you gave your items to and summon it whenever you want to retrieve the items.

This was not my original idea. I saw it in a YouTube and I thought I would share because this is quite useful.

You can't bring summoning into the fight caves, can you?

 

Not for fight caves but for Kiln you can.

 

Wouldn't after you summon the pouch to get your familiar and items back your familiar will then be susceptible to getting def xp again?

 

If you were to summon a different familiar that can hold items would it carry them all?

Ex. I give tort 18 items, then summon fruit bat. Will the bat have the 18 items?

 

That is why you summon the familiar at a time when you have enough inventory space to take out all the items it's carrying so you can dismiss it. (This is of course talking about when you are in a safe spot not getting attacked.)

This is less a glitch than a trick, so I don't think that the number of items the fruit bat can hold will increase. It will most likely just drop the items it cannot hold.

Well I remember a similar glitch to this, where you were able to get familiars that spawned items to hold different items...

Not sure if that works or not. It's worth a try I guess, I'm not sure what the point of doing that would be though? (I'm only 60 summoning so, I'm able to try the fruit bat).

 

That one has been patched. Was done nearly the same way but yeah. You would spawn a tortoise/terror bird full of items. After that you would log out and walk inside the summon free area of the G/E in f2p. Once that is done you would log out and hop to a p2p world again. Walk out of the summon free area and summon a fruit bat/ibis and it would hold the items of the previous summoning monster. This was also how the glitch was done to get unlimited EP and I used a similiar glitch @ March 2009 to smuggle runes outside of Barbarian Assault.. but that one was harder to perform and got me perm banned lol.
