They also upgraded my friend to a powerseller without him knowing and he didn't even want it and they still tried charge him the money for it and said if he don't pay they will shut his account down.

 

They banned me because they failed to follow there own contract(IE I refunded through PP when they didnt refund by 5 business days,and its 3 in PP contract)

 

You shouldn't try chargeback PlayerAuctions.com, they would have done it for you in due course but they just take really long to get things done.

 

They don't ban scammers :S
But so far only 1 person tried to scam me on PA and he didn't succeed so it's not really a problem.

 

Nice to hear they didn't manage to scam you mate, someone tried do it to me but I showed my proof of paying the items and I got paid after 10 days.

 

I hate when they have to verify and etc worst part it takes like 2 days for refund after canceling order...

I like PA but the fees are stupidly high.

 

PA's fees make me want to punch a baby. I sell for .65/m and get about .5/m after fees. like WTF ..

 

Nothing went well when my friend and I ordered.

His story - Ordered an account, it was recalled 45 days later. No compensation and PA didn't even ban the guy as he later posted the account for sale again on the site!

My story - Went through 2 weeks of problems trying to get an account which never got delivered. I attempted to order again and the guy didnt even respond. Ordered someplace else, no issues delivered within the day.

No point in buying currency from them as there are plenty of resellers out there cheaper and faster.

Overall, one of the biggest problems with PA is they have no control over what the seller will do and because of that they don't offer quality products, services, or support.

 

I have't experienced any problems with them they have only helped me secure my trades. The only thing I dislike is the 3 day waiting time for your money but its understandable since they need to secure your trade.

 

They were a lot better last summer. This past weekend, I got my card blacklisted on PA because I was being stupid. I didn't read the instructions for getting verified & entered a random amount between $1-2... tried that 3 times, then noticed the bit about checking my bank statement. Entered the number charged from them 3 times, and I got blacklisted lol. Guess it resets after 3. The support team keeps telling me they'll elevate the issue to the relevant team and that I'll hear back within a day, but it doesn't happen.

Last summer when I would click "Contact Us" and ask for live help, an operator was always available immediately. Now, it's always the same 2 or 3 guys... and they make you wait only to say the same thing. Early in the morning last night, I contacted an operator and he said they would be calling my phone soon to verify my account - within an hour. I stayed up an hour and a half & they didn't call. I checked my phone in the morning and there weren't any missed calls. It seems kind of like when you call a computer support line for your warranty & you reach a guy in India... and he says that he can barely hear you & there is interference on the line - tries to get rid of you because he doesn't know the answer/can't help. It seems like they've gone through some serious cutbacks/downgrades.

I'm tempted to ask if there are any similar and better sites out there, but at the same time, I think PA is probably safest since they act like a middleman... and gold prices there have always seemed to be lower than any other place. Guess I'll just keep waiting.

 

They added a fee to withdraw via PayPal on Playerauctions.com, what are your views on this. The fee is 2% of the total amount you want to withdraw.

 

Playerauctions takes so long to verify an order and because of that I sometimes I end cancelling it. For me to get my money back it takes at least 1-2 days which is annoying. Their support sucks as well.

The support of PA is really poor for a company which is based in LA they should fluently understand our questions

 

it will only take serveral minutes to verify an order at Gold4fun,in a very unlikely event you feel unhappy with our service,we have refund policy, just say it! A full refund will then be issued immediately

 

They suspended my account for posting pics off an account I was selling on sythe, then they fined me 150.00 which I don't plan to pay...

 

They gave my friend power seller without him asking for it and asked him to pay $150 when he didn't even want it. In the end they just let him keep it because he was making the Habbo section popular at the time.

 

PA now charge a extra 2% to pay out with PayPal even after the $1 and 9.99% fee's for the sale. I think this is pretty crazy and MoneyBookers seems cheaper but I don't have a account and it seems like a hassle. But they did make me a verified seller so thats pretty cool.

 

The only problem for me is their high fees. Totally unrealistic.
