    I have 2 questions.

    1. I have a new laptop with 4G of ram. Is it worth upgrading to 8G and is it hard?

    2. I have 1G Graphics (plenty enough) but am i able to dedicate more ram to the graphics (I'm really not sure if that is even possible.)

    Thanks in advance Shaaaaun.

EDIT: The laptop is a Acer Aspire V3-571G

    I have 2 questions.

What the exact specs of your laptop?

    1. It depends with the laptop to be honest, you should be able to upgrade no problem but it really depends if you would benefit from it or not.

    2. I'm not sure you can do that with a laptop, if you upgraded the GPU itself then it could be done. However, aside from the RAM, changing the GPU and Processor in a laptop is close to impossible.

Laptops right for the most part. The RAM should cost under $80 depending on how you need to add RAM. if it's in 1 4gb stick or 2 2gb sticks, that sorta thing.. Make sure the RAM slot is easily accessible first.. I would have to take my entire laptop to upgrade the RAM.

First before you buy the ram make sure your motherboard supports up to 8gb. I have done this before and mine only supported 4gb. Stupid mistake.
