New Signature

New sig, like or dislike?
Please comment on how it could be better and remember I'm highly new to this. Sticking simple as I learn the basics.

 

It's basic, but good. The big "D" gives it a nice effect. The text itself is nice, and the background gives it a nice touch. One thing I am going to say though is that at the bottom left, the swirl is cut off, leaving a flat edge on it:

However the clip on the side ruins it imo also.

It would look better if the swirls were just plain white. Looks a little weird colour wise, the mix is off. Don't like the black text/white outline it seems to not fit well with the swirls in the background. You should use some swirly type text instead.

I think if the colors were brighter it would be great.

 

I like the background of your signature but I don't think the white and black on top of it suits the background very well. Good job with the background though.

 

A more complex text maybe?
