I have a "Greenbelt Cooperative, Inc. " 10 dollar share/stock.


It was signed in june 10th 1981 any idea how much it's worth now? OR how I can cash it?

First person with accurate information of it will get 10m Rsgp.

 

It would depend on what percentage of the company you own. If you own 1%, and the company is worth $100,000, your share will be worth $1000. If you are looking to sell it, you can either:

1. Ask the company if they wish to buy it back
2. Sell it on the market (not sure if you need to ask the majority shareholder fist, who is usually the owner of the business)

 

How do I ask the company, what if they don't i'm stuck with 10 dollars that i can't do anything with?

 

You need to contact the company with all the documents and proof that you owe that share.

And discuss with them a price that both you and greenbelt will be happy on.

 

You would have to ask the highest in command, but ringing up a "Contact Us" number, and saying something like "Hello, is the manager around, I need to discuss something important with him/her". That should get you through, but normally you can never get through to someone like that. Once you have a proper discussion with them about the share, they'll tell you what you can do.

This ^ would be a good idea.
