Anyone still play Counter Strike 1.6?

Souce is played a lot more often. There are servers with 1.6, but a lot fewer.

 

I do play 1.6 but I moved to Source like a year ago. I disliked the recoil. Well not a competitive player, so just playing it for fun. Hoping to upgrade my computer and move to BO

 

There's more 1.6 players than Source, and will be forever. Actually, I believe there's more 1.6 servers than Source. You just have to use Game-Monitor to join servers and other such websites, because Romanian hackers injected their own servers into the server list on Steam. 1.6 takes more skill and will always be better than Source, Source is just a game for noobs to feel good about themselves. If people want graphics, play Crysis 2 Multiplayer...

Reviving a dead thread. I'm new here but for some reason, this discussion piqued my interest. I used to play CS habitually, and recently re-discovered my steam account and have been playing 1.6 as of late.

I loved Cs 1.6. I think it was the best one out of all of them, much better than css.

 

I usually play in frostys house of pain. its a dust2 server, pretty legit.

Its the cheapest thrilling game you can get. I still have my steam account from when i was 12.

CS is 1.6 but it's very old. CSS has better graphics but gamplay isn't the same. I hope CS:GO will be a good game. Not a fail like source.

 

Condition Zero. I played that a lot years and years ago, don't play now though.
