A question on infractions

Hi i just got 2 infractions, these are my only infractions to date that havent been promptly reversed.. I acted a little immature on a thread and yeah got infracted. Well i looked around and couldnt find out much info on infractions how many is dangerous and them pertaining to bans ect.. While im fairly sure 2 little infractions not having to do with any trades or anything doesnt put me in the red for a ban i dont want to risk it and would like more information on the subject. Sorry if this is the wrong place, thanks in advance for any info.

Think of infractions as warnings, if you get 5 active ones then you will be temp banned. Infractions usually expire after 3 months unless a Global/Administrator changes the time length of it. You can avoid them by reading the rules and stickies in sections you post in. You may politely PM the mod that issued you if you would like to discuss it further and possibly have it reversed if you feel they should have it reversed.

Alright, good luck. Try to keep your messages to them polite as many people have been known to rage in their infraction disputes.

Just adding on; a user who receives 5 infractions will receive a temporary 3 day ban, and a user who receives 7 infractions will receive a temporary 7 day ban.

 

Word of advice: Don't do this. Infractions will almost never be reversed by the mod who issued them, and almost as rarely will they be reversed by that mod's superior. Of the hundreds I issued, and the hundreds more I got PM's back about (both raging and polite) only one has been reversed, and it was by blupig because it was an honest mistake on his part and my part.

 

Although I haven't received an infraction' in around a half a year, I have four reversed infractions. If you PM the issuer, be kind, and explain the situation you may get it reversed. Still unlikely, I suppose.
