Everyone. I'm trying to start up an old tradition. Drop parties. The friend chat is uJhite Boy. World for the drops is 1. I want to get people to start having the good old fashion runescape fun.

Can we know why are you hosting in Game Drop parties? maybe 99 Skill? or are you just trying to get people to join your chat to look big and scam other ingame?

A lot of you seem to be missing the point of this thread.

If you played RuneScape Classic, you probably remember drop parties very well. One person would spam something like "Drop party in 10 minutes, follow me!" and a huge train would follow him and help him advertise. Eventually, you'd end up in the museum or somewhere strange like that and the host would run around dropping items on the ground for people to pick up when they appear.

Now, as far as scamming goes... The motive behind these types of drop parties is purely enjoyment. With drop parties in the party room, the whole world sees you're having this big drop party and it ends up with a bunch of people getting 5k. With these, it's a smaller, more local drop party with an added element of excitement since you actually see the items on the ground and since there aren't as many people the attendees are able to potentially make more money through drop parties.

Hope that explains it to you a bit better. :p

I'm hosting because Runescape was fun with them. I would do them weekly. But if everyone chips in it would be better. But considering that bankers and people don't advertise drops, it would be less then 50 people.
