What tp get girlfriend for 6 month gift?

If you want to really surprise her, Why not make a collage of all the memories you have together, Lots of photos.
Or... Make a video of clips & photos of you and her with one of her favourite songs, and whack it on youtube. Will work a treat.
You dont have to spend loads

 

A piece of jewelry always goes a long way with the ladies I would highly suggest maybe writing a romantic, heartfelt note or poem and tucking that in a little box with the piece of jewelry.

Material gifts are great, and of course girls love them. But if you REALLY want to melt a woman's heart, you have to do something a little more romantic and from the heart Notes & poems work wonders, I have been using them for years.

Thats what I did for my girlfriend. You just have to remember that they will love whatever you get her. Its not what you get her but the thought. Maybe dinner too

I'm a gamer girl, so my opinion will probably differ from that of a 'girly girl', but I found this to be the best gift in the whole thread. I would pass up a shopping spree, jewellery, and even just money for this. The 999 swans (cranes?) seems really sweet and it really shows the amount of effort you're willing to put in for her.

The small things really go a long way. What you give her as a gift could be, although probably inaccurate, a way for her to judge you and see how much of an effort you're willing to put into the relationship as a whole. I remember there being some superstition in regards to folded cranes, wherein if you fold 1000 cranes and make a wish, it'll come true. By folding 999 cranes, you could ask your girlfriend to fold the 1000th crane together with you and let her make a wish.

Just my two cents, though. You're free to disregard any part you don't agree with.
