What's Your Favourite Runescape Year?

What year did you enjoy playing Runescape the most?

It can be more than one year. State your reason why.

 

2004-2006 when it was all about the wildy, was great...

Then they took it out and brought it back and it was never the same

 

2012 this year, I'll max sometime this year =]

 

2002-2007 wildy, staking, no op items, actual merching, scamming

 

I enjoyed Runescape the most when I first started in 03. A lot of my friends played at the time too, which made it especially fun.

 

Probably 2006-2007. I think that was right before things started to get all screwed up, plus I had just started playing. Most of my friends from school played back then. I think I'm the only one who still does lol.

 

2005 and 2011 thats when runescape started to breath again since the lost of the wild

03-06 when i had fun playing runescape, just started to get back into it in 2012

 

I actually campaigned against the Wilderness removal in '06, I disliked Bountry Hunter, and I disliked the Bounty world just as much, however I got used to the Bounty worlds and looking back they they 100x better than new Wilderness.

Bounty +1 Worlds and PvP worlds with free trading would be awesome in my opinion. So for me it has to be 06-10, I was well into the swing of the game by then and I liked the new style of PKing, there were some awesome pures back then too, AGS pkers with 1 prayer at 60 Combat, just spiced everything up!

04-07 cus i started in 04 and it was just so different back then

 

I'm liking this year and the last year the most as bots got nuked and free trade and wildy came back.

 

05 was simple and great, 06 was awesome with a good few updates that worked, 07 was also great until the anti-scamming/free-trade/pvp updates, since then game was nothing like it used to be imo.

overall verdict: 2006 or EARLY 2007.

 

2006 loved the freedom

 

I think I joined 2006 or 2007. Great years, almost 99% of the guys in my class played Runescape. I remember we had a "clan" named pk dooom. We were like 7 guys maybe and everyone had different names like " Pk d0o0m" and "Pk d000m". Our goal was to kill all the PKs. Very funny.

 

2005 for shore!

 

To be honest, unlike most people I'd say this year on terms of some of the updates they've done, some bad but some have been pretty good.

 

2001, runescape was my first ever online MMO type game i've played, was fun to learn all the l33tspeak terms etc.
