Lag every 2 seconds?

For the past couple of weeks now, a lot of times when I run, it will freeze every 2 seconds for about 1 second, then do the same thing over again... ITS PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF AND IDK HOW TO FIX IT ! :C anyone had/have this problem?

 

The RS Lag has been fixed now for the majortiy of the player base.

Have you tried:

- Reinstalling/updating Java?
- Updating/trying out a different browser and see what it does?
- Running a defrag on your PC and see if that speeds it up?

 

Play RuneScape in a the lower quality settings, this always works for me. It use to happen to me quite a bit then I would just lower them and it would run great for me.

 

Try to download the Runescape Client it may not be available for your country but im sure theirs other ways to get it *dont just download anything off google*
may get you some virus

The same thing happens to me when I'm in crowded areas. If you're using a Mac, the recent FPS update wouldn't have fixed anything. Try clearing the cache on your computer?

 

Hmmm everything seems fine to me.

 

Odd that your lagg has increased when majority of people's has decreased.

Try deleting any Jagex/Runescape files off your computer then re-play Runescape.

Also try re-installing java?

 

try a different world on rs? I remember in w77 fishing i was lagging like a bitch with high ping but 50 fps then I hopped worlds and it was all better

 

its your internet connection, i have absolute garbage fps on my internet connection currently though i have noticed a exponential improvement when i use other peoples/better connections. FPS and lag has been helped out alot in recent updates, if you still have problems its your internet connection/computer that has the problem not rs.. im not hating keep in mind i have garbage connection with rs locally, i have much better/faster gaming with various private servers but i have noticed it getting better since most recent update .

 

It was the shitty world I was on lol. Jagex needs better VPS'

 

lol not to be a dick but if your not checking ping and switching worlds before you post here you're being a total noob about the issue ... lower ping = less lag. you should not post problems if you are not even attempting to solve them. I know this sounds kinda harsh, i assure you im not trying to flame but it seems like you wasted peoples time it being solved by switching worlds . Would a mod please close this, he apparently fixed his own problem.
