^Despite obvious attempt at trolling, I still want to observe that there will always be 10 year olds who orgasm over pokemon, hence the continued success with their new games, new pokemon, and new TV series (most recently being Pokemon Black and White, which fetched a few million from marketing). Pokemon will always be legend, especially when it first started. Was blessed in many, many childhoods in the mid-late 90's. Never will be forgotten.

 

I was going to reply to your lame comment, but Moh pretty much covered it with this:

Pokemon never lost it's legacy. And if you haven't noticed, most stuff that isn't over a decade old blows anyway (music, tv, etc.).

I desparately want a tattoo, but everyone says (and I guess I know it's true) that it's pointless to get one that doesn't mean something significant........

I've considered tattooing something game-related, inspired by my video-game oriented childhood-- like the zelda triforce, or the Deathly Hallows symbol from harry potter.. but when I think about it, I'm not sure it's significant enough, so I pussy out lul

Yeah, it really gotta mean something behind it, or else it's just like...there.

I have nine tattoos, and all of them mean something.
Pikachu's 'cause I grew up with Pokemon, and love Pokemon and when I was six my childhood best friend gave me a Pikachu stuffy (I still sleep with).
Heart for my best friend whom's dead. (More detailed than just a heart).
Best friend tattoo on my arm, it's a flower... black, hard to explain.
Dino when I tried E for the first time, I got it done, because I saw a pair of kid shoes with a dino on it.
My nickname "Mystique" on my arm.
My father's tattoo (Harley Davidson). (my father was a biker, he's deceased now).
My mother's tattoo (hand holding a pink ribbon) she battled Breast Cancer.
On near my shoulder line of bra strap, it's a bunch of designs (not finished yet, it's going to go around my arm, and whatnot) stating the unique, outgoing, and difference as I am as a person.
& my final one (for right now getting more) "I'm not broken" because I suffered through "emotionaliness", let's just say.

I love Harry Potter though, that'd be a cool tattoo, depends on what you get, and the unique of it. etc


edit: also, it doesn't hurt...well not to me atleast, I'm used to piercings, and they ":hurt" more than tattoos.
If you can handle a piercing, you can handle a tat.

 

Oh yeah I'm not so worried about pain, I just don't want to be 40 years old with a tattoo I highly regret permanently inked on my arm or something. It really has to be something that sticks with me for the rest of my life.

Something I really really admire is my uncle's new tattoo: his 4 year old just wrote his name for the first time, and he took it to a tattoo shop and had it put on his arm exactly as my nephew wrote it. That's an AMAZING sentiment and he can never really regret it

 

aw, that's so sweet of him yeah when the time comes, and I have kids- I'll be definitly getting their names on my ankle, or their foot prints.
