rs2006--Your Thoughts and Opinions

For those of you that do not know already, rs2006 is being released in the near future. rs2006 is a game client (not private server) that lets you play Runescape like it was back in '06 (the good ole days). This brings backs nostalgia and many good and back memories when I was a "noob" in those days. By just going to the homepage (http://www.2006scape.com/) it brings tears to my eyes lol.

Anwyays how do you guys think this will affect the Runescape economy? Personally, ill check it out and play for a few days, but then back to same old sht Runescape for me, as I cbf'd starting over all over again.

Do you guys think more people will move back to the old Runescape? No more SoF's, shitty armor graphic updates, dicing/gambling, annoying quests, etc..

How long do you think this will last for? Just another #1 song of the week or will this be permanent?

If it is not run by Jagex, it is a private server.

 

a private server is a server where you have 5000 of each partyhat 100k of everyrune and this isnt even close to that.

You can't honestly think that, can you? Anything that's not actual Runescape and is the same code / gameplay ALMOST EXACTLY is a private server.

 

yeah i see where you are coming from...but I think it will be completely different than those other "private servers" where you can have anything you want and unlimited of any item. It's a private server in that way; yes, but again not really...



idk i was just in a clan chat where people were talking about this, so i just thought id share it with you guys on Sythe and get other input and such.

Everyone have too high of a expectation for this server..
"the good ole days"
only thing good about those days were the community..
and you know for a fact that the RS community now is shit
and the same community will be playing rs2006 and nothing is going to bring back the good ole days
