    It has for many people, most people say they are getting 50 FPS now, myself included.

    Lag On Runescape
    For me, it has stopped lagging thanks to the update. As Laptop said the majority of us are getting 50 FPS.

    Is this with you playing on max detail or something?

    I never venture out of safe mode myself, but I don't lagg now.

    I use a Mac and I'm still very laggy. Apparently the update only worked for PCs. Some Jagex mod posts on the RS forums have claimed that they're working on an update for Macs. It will probably take them forever though.

    i have a mac and im also getting massive lag as well. it sucks.

    How much can your fps increase lol. It's runescape. Not exactly the most GPU intensive game you can play.

    I noticed a major increase in FPS the few times I've been on RS since the update :)

    Mines always been 40+ didn't change even if that update because my laptop is really fast.

    yup

    I'm starting to get my lagg back.. everyday I notice my fps isnt around what it should be..

    After update w64 edge max graphics was 50 fps.. now I'm getting 35 fps same spot I normally stand to skill in.. not sure if it's slowly going back down or what

    Using direct-x and all graphics on high with bloom I'm getting a solid 50 fps..

    So yes a massive increase ! =]
