Monkey madness - pure

Hi,

After my last pure failed about two years ago, lately I decided to start a new one. Today I finished grand tree and tree gnome village and I'm about to do monkey madness.

But I have a question about the reward,

I remember some pures failing and they got like in 30 defence because of the reward. I remember my self doing it right back then and did not gain defence xp but I do not remember how I did it, which reward did I choose and if i'm too afraid is it possible to skip the reward?

JUst pick the attack and strength option

 

I'm seriously not understand it because I knew it was possible but on rune HQ it sasys

Reward:
10k gp, 3 Diamonds, the ability to wield the Dragon scimitar, talk to Daero to get training in Strength and Hitpoints OR Attack and Defence. You get 35k experience in the 2 skills of your choice and 20k experience in the other two skills you didn't choose.

so I would get 35K in the two that I choose and the 2 others I don't choose I would get 20K exp so def exp..

 

Don't choose either. They both give Defence XP just in different amounts. You can get back to Ape Atoll after completing the quest by right clicking on Daero and selecting the 'Travel' option.

DON'T TALK TO DAERO

 

Alright.. I did though that it was possible. I am almost 100% sure

 

jamessy is correct , , attack and strengh still , offer defence , cause you are taking hits still

Ignore everything they said up there ^

Unless there was an update, regardless of what exp reward you pick you will receive defence exp!
