Nomads requim

I'll soon he all the requirements for this quest and was wondering how to take on nomad. I know the big thing before was range with ruby bolts. My question is should I still range him? I have 86 range, or should I use some type of mage thinking polypore I have 94 mage. Not too worried about the battle itself just what attack style to use.

 

Most users die on their first attempt at Nomad.

I will stick to ranging him tbh.

 

You are better off ranging then maging. However if you got some decent melee stats, like 90/95 + and a chaotic rapier/maul/longsword, melee is a good option too.

 

The point of ruby bolts is the special effect which doesn't require you to have a high range level. 86 is fine

 

Firstly dont worry about the first fight. See it as a tester and whatnot. I died on my first time.

few key things to remember

1) When he charges his ridiculously stupid move that hits loads brew up above max health

2) Dont step on the mines. Manually click in the direction of the gap.

3) When he summons his doubles just hide behind a pillar

4) Your tactic forfighting him should be give him a few hits, hide behind the pillar, pot up rinse and repeat.

 

If you have 85 defense, the fight is disgustingly easy of you wear full gano. Meleeing him with a chaotic works way better than ruby bolts, so no matter what your def is I would stick to melee if you have a chaotic weapon. Otherwise just bring high Mage soaking for his special attack, and good luck.

 

I never saw why people had such a problem with nomad. I had 70 defence, 85 strength, 90 attack when I killed him using Blackdhide, and a bgs. Just brought a tort full of rocks and some potions. Killed him on the first try.

 

i killed nomad when i had 72 range... lol i fail but i was maxed mellee. So that helped alot. Make sure you use a talon or a kyatt

 

Took me 3 tries once I figured out how to actually use brews it was simple. Although I killed him with an ambush scroll as I was falling over dying but Still completed it
