We just ran our 4x400 and won with a time of 3:53, my split was about a 54.5, im in 8th grade, would you say that is good?

 

Yes. That's very good. Especially for your age. Keep working at it and you'll be able to lower your times drastically by high school.

 

yeah 54 is good in 8th grade, our best guy is a senior running a 52, and he smokes everyone..

 

no matter if thats good or bad, being in 8th grade leaves much much time to improve. good luck

 

That's good for 8th grade, although my team has a guy who runs a 49 and two others at 51. Its a really good 4x4 team, especially for a school that graduates 75 students a year

Pretty solid time, just keep at it, you'll need 49s ish to run D1 college (I run 800m D1). You still have a lot of time though. Work hard and the results will come.
