Photography people needed! (Gift ideas)

I want to buy my love a lighting kit for her birthday because she has never been able to work with studio equipment. I'm all about the music, so I don't know anything about this kind of stuff.

What do you think would be a good starting bundle? I've looked into it a little bit and found this:

Go to your closest city and then visit a photograpy shop. I am sure they will help you and give you some great tips! That's what I would do.
