how to get a song to say the artists name instead of unknown artist

as the title says. Is there any way to change this?
Btw i dont have an Ipod.

 

You can change its properties by right clicking on the song, and clicking on the third tab.
Or it might be different for you; I use windows 7.

You'll find a tab where you can edit the name, artist, and album of the song

There's that method, and you can drag it into itunes and change it from there.
