Pink floyd concert

Went to The Wall concert in San Francisco last night. ftw.:noworry:

 

I went to the wall, last year, at the O2 Arena in London. I was shocked when David Gilmour and Nick Mason appeared as well. It was exactly a year ago in fact

 

Was it Pink Floyd? Or where they playing as just David Gilmour and Roger Waters

 

they don't play together anymore i don't think. the fill-ins were ok.

 

So it was a tribute band ?

 

It was a concert by Roger Waters, but David Gilmour and Nick Mason made surprise appearances. So basically it was kinda like a little reunion, but it was sad that Richard Wright wasn't there. R.I.P

I saw a Pink Floyd cover band at a local place in Jersey and they were spot on with EVERYTHING. I mean every note on every instrument and every vocal was just like the Floyd would do it. Some people say the cover bands are actually better to go to because the original band members are so old, many of them have lost their touch (listen to Gilmours vocals during the live 8 concert-couldnt imagine what he sounds like now.)

But anyways, I bet that concert was SICK!

I've seen Roger Waters' The Wall live in the Netherlands last year. I hope they are releasing an official DVD because this was simply amazing.

 

Was this the classic The Wall concert where they literally build the wall onstage and knock it down at the end?

I heard Roger Waters performed The Wall in Vancouver a few nights ago. I wish I had known about it before or I probably would have bought a ticket. I've got a concert DVD of Waters doing the wall in Berlin with a ton of guest stars, and it is fucking AMAZING!
