How do I consider someone trustable here ?

    Hi,

    [Little story] :
I'm a newcomer here, I came essentially to sell RSGP. A lot. But of course I thought I'd have to gain popularity here before I can start selling big sums of GP by not going first in the trade.

So yesterday I did my first sale, and got scammed  . The buyer had a few vouches, and 200+ messages here so eventually I thought I could trust him for a small 10M sale. Turns out I couldn't lol.

So I'd like to hear opinions that will help me make a better judgment on potential buyers. Like, am I supposed to get in contact with each of the players mentionned in his vouches to verify ?

    Thanks ;)

Post count means nothing, and you should look at the quality of vouches over the quantity.. Also, if they try pressuring you into going first or try offering higher then normal prices, I would avoid trading... And remember, if you feel uncomfortable with any trade, there are very trusted middlemen that are free of charge

Also, not only quantity but if you're buying a rs acc, make sure they have sales in selling accs...for example if you see someone buying up to 15b in gp, selling a maxed acc...with no acc trades:3 it's funky sometimes... when i n doubt use an omm and ask him:)

I would look at Quality of Vouches than quanity first of all, Like anyone can sell 10m increments and gain 100 vouches, but doing big trades liek a 1b transaction shows trust.

also post count and date apply [ higher it is the better]

Lastly to not get scammed in big amounts always use an OMM, they might cost some but if u are selling "alot" [ assuming billions] then losing 50 dollars to a OMM isn't as bad as losing liek 500-2k$ USD to a scammer amirite :D

Just use OMM, or sell to very trusted sellers who have tons of vouches.

An OMM is not necessary, there are several MM's that would be appropriate for trades, just have to make sure of their legitimacy aswell.

Look at the quality of the vouches aswell as the quantity.
Join Date is also kind of important
Posts don't really count too much, they shouldn't factor into your decision too much unless its over like 1500+
    Also judge on his attitude.
If he is rushing a sale or drawing it out unnecessarily, be suspicious as they are trying to sway your decisions or rush the trade so you act against your better judgement.

As many others have stated, try to look into selling your gp to the big trusted bulk buyers, or if that isn't an option look into finding a free MM with vouches to back up their history. Good luck selling your stuff.
