Particular if you're emailing from the same email address registered to your RuneScape account.

And as mentioned previously, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

 

This seems the most likely case. Good way to phish for emails.

If this guy is legit, PM a mod to verify you have the money.

 

All hackers/scammers/lurers play off human greed, just don't send him anything.

Very good point about the email you have linked to your rs account. With the new update it looks like you gain pretty much complete control by gaining the registered email.

RSGP giveaways are allowed, but emailing him is most like just going to have a fresh load of spam/phishing emails sent your way. I wouldn't email him.
