New Bonfire thing

what is it exactly, i threw some logs in it got some fm xp. is that all it is? just a way to train fm?

 

It's less click intensive now.

Aparentely the more people that use one bonfire, the more exp you earn for each log.

Reference: Some annoying young'un was shouting for people to start firemaking so he could get extra exp lol

 

This might make me actually try to go for 99 FM.

No one can tell you the exact extent of this. Just imagine you would not having to lose time in mis-clicks, using much energy/concentration when training the skill.

That's the kind of factor that affects the time to get your fm level up.

 

It's an awesome update if you have 5+ people doing it you gain an extra 4%.

It's like Ivy but for firemaking. I am hoping these spirits are a good source of charms. I clicked one and got 100 air runes, 1 gold, and 4 greens.

 

when a player with high fm lvl starts a fire with a high lvl log, like a magic log, the fire will last longer. When you do it with maple, you will get like 172 xp per log if you do it alone. When other ppl came and burn it on your fire, you will get 4-5% xp more. if 5 ppl are using the same fire, you will get 5% xp more per log. Also your range will grow up by 10% as far as i know

 

I randomly got a 10hp bonus for 30mins (100lp now) when adding some logs so I think you also get extra boosts aswell as fm exp

 

Less Clicking involved, it has up to 4% bonus for each log u throw in based on number of players with you. Ez mode May be slower than reg lighting but we all know afk is better

 

You also get a ton of charms drom fire sprits

Its great, I might actually do Fming for once

 

gives 10% boot to fming as well i think

 

if only this was in the game years ago, i have bought and re-sold 99 fm atleast 10 times giving up after about 500 logs.

 

Jagex just made fm'ing afk'able, good update tbh
