Runescape on Xbox

I think it's a good idea, but in my opinion there is no possible way it will ever happen. Developing it would cost a lot of money for Jagex who are greedy bastards. Also, RS is unique in the way it is played with point and click while using keyboard chat. This would be awkward on an xbox controller and it would be kind of weird to here a bunch of kids voices while roaming around rather than text.

 

i think it would be kind of cool but wouldnt work so well and be as popular, But you can do left click with clicking the left analog stick and right clicks with clicking right analog stick lol

 

Not hardly a xbox is essentially a small computer it wouldn't be anymore harder to create a bot for the xbox than it would be for the computer the only difference would be the users using said bots would be a little smarter.

 

I think it would be fun and yeah dead bots haha unless you mod the xbox and put in a jump drive with a bot somehow

 

it wouldnt be exclusive to xbox >_< and i'm sure someone could hook one up.

anyways i dont see any benefits to having it on xbox anyways

Pking could be fun if they changed the controls for how to switch etc, but apart from pking it would just be annoying.

 

Sort of like skyrim online I guess?
Would be crazy and the severs would cost so much.

 

Although a cool thought that it could happen, I don't think it would ever happen due to the amount of work that would have to be done to make it compatible and as close to how it is on computer.

USB keyboard kind of defeats the purpose of playing it on xbox though.

If it was like an alternative that miraculously worked out, more power to those people. I'm not really a fan of the Xbox, however, so I probably wouldn't use Rs on it. =p

 

^ although i think it would be neat, the game would have t o get a revamp and i don't think it could stay at its current state of course. i'm sure a version of it along the lines of skyrim, oblivion mass effect etc could be made with a multiplayer online area, but imho it just wouldn't be the same.

 

It would be cool for a few minutes maybe, but I think it would get annoying pretty fast. I definitely prefer RuneScape on a PC, and I think the way the game operates currently works much better when played on a computer.

In the future though, who knows. Maybe RuneScape will become a console game some day (although I hope not).
