Dragon Kite Shield Thought

What special effect do you guys think the dragon kite shield might have? Im thinking it would be something like damage soaking (much like a divine)

 

Yea.. Damage soaking would be a must for this kiteshield. Other than that, there may be some prayer bonus...

 

Other dragon armour provides no prayer bonus so its only logical that the dragon kiteshield won't either.

It'll include some melee and ranged damage soak (mostly ranged)

 

Maybe a ranged special attack on the shield since Dfs spec I'd magic based?Not sure cant wait until it comes out though.

It can't soak damage. There are already too many high end shields in this game. I think it will having something like the dfs attack. Baring in mind it will only be 60def it cannot be a good shield for mains.

 

i think itll be like a really high def shield but also with attack bonuses and some cool abilty/special attack.

 

I think it will be on par or weaker than the chaotic kite, maybe it will have a special attack which would give some differentiation.

 

I think it's going to be another waste of an update, will be over-priced and useless to most people.

 

Honestly, I think it'll be just a piece of expensive armour just like the rest of the dragon set that has no godly bonuses, but looks quite alright.

 

This ^ I don't think jagex is ready to outdo their chaotics /other high powered shields

I personally cannot see the shield with any extra benefits apart from good def bonus.

 

The shield is planned to be another choice for the DFS, which has a special effect, so I personally think it wont.

 

i think it will have a special attack lol, much like a dfs

 

hope it actually looks nice, think it'll look like skyrims last armour tbh

 

Has there been any word on requirements? Not really into it too much.

 

Hopefully its something worth it. Something like DFS but also a great prayer bonus and def bonus

 

If it's bonuses are in par with the other dragon gear, it will probably be slightly worse than the DFS and cost 100m or something stupid like that.

I agree however through this same logic, I also think that no damage soaking will be applied to the kiteshield.

I believe it'd be a while till this release anyway, unless they've stated an update about it soon which I've missed.
