minecraft on ipad

hi, i have never played minecraft before but i dowloaded it on my ipad and played it.

i dont really get the point of it.

just seems like u walk around and put down blocks.

seems extremely boring.

is there an element to the game that i am missing?

 

Imagination.


I think on the iPad you can only use creative, but still, that can be loads of fun. Try and build the biggest and best creation you can. The world is at your disposal. You can make whatever you can think of.

 

You should also try playing it on the computer. It's a lot better and less frustrating with a mouse and a keyboard

that should give you some inspiration

 

NO! Play it on the computer, the Ipad version is AWFUL! I have personally played on the computer, iphone, and ipad.

It is no where near as fun as it is on the computer.

Also as stated above, Imagination is the key element, to create the world you want!

 

Play it on a computer where you can play the game properly before judging it. Minecraft wasn't originally made for the iPad.

 

Ive played mc on my iPad, fun as hell. But you can't do that much.

 

I usually like to play on Ipad when at school, or somewhere away from the computer. It's actually fun to play then.

 

so it sounds like i should try it on the comp. but still.... a game just where "imagination" is fun. If i wanted that, i would just paint... or write a book lol.

without an objective, it doesnt really appeal to me that much..

 

I'm exactly the same way. I've tried playing it but it's just extremely boring to me. My younger brother got it for the Xbox and I tried playing that and it's still the same thing.. Apparently on the computer you can join certain servers that have like PvP, and an economy etc. but I still don't enjoy it. I'm looking for some sort of inspiration to play it because SO many people love it and I just can't get into it..
