My friend bought "Red". It was locked after 4 days and then recovered. do not buy this name.

 

How the hell can a name be locked? They are transferable?

 

its funny because my friend (alma mater) who is temp banned is saying on msn that he bought "red" for exactly your a/w price (100m). im guessing your either physconaut who is banned, or the MM they used.

everyone knows damn well names cant be locked, only the account that has the name on it. if you're looking to "rent" this account for 100m for a few days then this is the right name for you.

Ok , again how can a name be locked? It was transfered from the account to this one...the same way it would be done to the account of who ever wants the said name. Why are you bring in drama that is not relevant to me? I dont know your friend or you, nor do i care if he was scammed.

 

1) Someone buys the name for 100m
2) They put membership on it and change the name to something random like Mr Lucky X (which was the previous name)
3) Everything is all good until BOOM, the account gets locked.
4) The buyer writes an email to Jagex; they cant help the buyer because they are not the orignial owner of the account
5) Finally, the owner gets back the account, waits until he can change the name back to red
6) The name is up for sale on Sythe again! Ta-da!
