Divine Or TOrva?

okay so basically i am wondering which would be the best to get on my main, full torva or divine im nearly maxed melee , 99 pray 99 herb 97 def

 

You can never go wrong with Torva.

 

I'd say torva... i don't really like divine that much to be honest. Probably because i used to stake and the effect of the divine doesn't work unless prayer was turned on.

 

ok and, i currently dont have quite enough to afford torva (got like 530M bank and torvas like 570 or so) should i buy a piece at a time or wait to afford all? cuz its been going up quite alot in the past weeks and it probably gonna keep rising since QBD is around the corner? :O

 

with repair costs you never wanna use all your cash to buy it. wait until you have ~1b and then you don't have to worry about being low on pocket change

 

im also 99 smithing so the repair cost wont be THAT big a deal tbh

 

I recommend that you get a divine. You'll only be using torva for melee, while you can use divine for all combat styles. Also it doesn't need to be repaired so you'll save money as well.

 

id say get a divine too,they are way nicer

 

i tried the divine and i didnt like it much, im more of a 'hit high' guy so id rather have ddef =o

 

i bought torva plate and legs, and plus i can use it with chaotic maul

 

Divine with bandos > Torva with chaotic Kiteshield.

Divine is so much more useful and bandos is a suitable cheap option that can be used effectively with a divine.

Torva, fuck a devine.

 

Why, all Torva does is add a slight bit of defence bonus but has no real benefit. It doesn't even look good anymore and Bandos is a cheaper decent alternative. Torva is good if you can afford Torva and a Divine.

 

ohwell ill sell torva and just save up my cash until i can afford something good :S all i do is slayer pretty much anyways lately

Realistically though, if buying one or the other is going to drain your bank completely, hold off for a little while. Making money from nothing is a pain.

 

Torva is more practical. Divine's best use is pking or an add on for bossing. Torva is more ideal for slayer, bandos or other melee bosses, etc.

 

I disagree though... If he has that divine and goes camps Armadyl boss or Bandos boss, he could make a fair decent bit of cash if he is lucky.

 

If I where you I would buy the divine. The %30 damage reduction would help you out more overall than torva, plus you could use it when ranging and maging.. rather than just melee.

 

Can't go pass Divine it's tank in anything PvM and PvP
